Dewatering of sludge by Centrifugation in Decanter

Typically we deliver a decanter unit as the dewatering step and an integrated part of our SKIRA process plants for wastewater treatment, but other designs can be selected.

Skira Wastewater Treatment solutions

We design and deliver complete and fully automated plants for wastewater treatment in aquaculture.

Polymers and coagulants for wastewater treatment

We offer an effective product line that widthstand high salinity for advanced and strong separation in wastewater treatment. Floccera are environmentally friendly water dispersion flocculants (pollymers) and coagulants for wastewater treatment thickening and dewatering

Thickening

The first separation step is thickening of the wastewater whereby the concentration of dry matter (DM) in the wastewater is lifted from up to 0.15 % to 5-10% DM. We offer different thickener designs and a wide range of capacities. Our designs are recognised for high operational stability and long-lasting durability.

Polymer and Coagulant Performance System

The Fjell Coagulant and Polymer Performance system is a fully automated system designed to give the optimal choice of polymer and coagulant, storage of selected product, maturation and correct dosing of coagulant and polymer, and optimal reaction time of selected polymer and coagulant. The result is a clearer, cleaner effluent.

Sludge drying

We offer a range of proven dryers for fish sludge applications. For small to medium sized fish farms, our TMD (Thermo Mechanical Dryer) sanitizes and fully dries the sludge by friction heat. For larger capacities, our TD (Turbo Disc) dryer is the most energy efficient option. In Fjell, we have 45 years of experience in full/part drying and utilization of residual raw materials.

Release Ready

Clean water assurance of water effluent and reject water from treatment process (and RAS overflow water) by means of biological treatment to achieve even higher BOD and COD removal before discharge. This final cleaning step is designed to meet stringent environmental regulations and can address remaining solids, nitrogen, phosphorus, total organic carbon (TOC), and other substances as required.
