Floccera Initia
Advanced and environmentally friendly
organic coagulants
Coagulation is the initial step in ensuring that the discharged wastewater meets required quality. Coagulants neutralize charges and causes dissolved and suspended substances to accumulate into mini floccs.

The starting point in cleaning wastewater
Coagulation is the initial step in ensuring that the discharged wastewater meets required quality. Coagulants neutralize charges and creates mini floccs which provides an ideal basis for the polymers to bring together particles into floccs (clumps).
Our Floccera Initia product line can be used in higher concentrations than oil in water emulsions. The Initia product line is a series of organic coagulants that have no impact on pH, and works in a wide range of pH. We offer plant-based and natural coagulants focused on considerations to the environment.
In addition to the Floccera product line, we offer Fjell Coagulant Performance system for optimal mixing, dosage, and reaction time of polymer into the process. This system is part of our offering of complete and fully automated solutions for wastewater treatment systems for fish processing plants and fish farms.

Selection and dosage of coagulant
It is very important to take into account the coagulant dosage.
- Physical and chemical conditions are relevant to consider and understand in selection of an efficient polymer.
- Excess can cause re-stabilization of the colloidal matter due to oversaturation of the surface charge of the particles
We take samples, and perform jar tests in the field or in our laboratory simulating wastewater treatment to find the optimal coagulant and polymer type, dosage, pH, and mixing conditions for efficient particle aggregation into floccs - for your process. Optimal selection can result in significant savings and a significantly better purification effect.
