Our team is growing

Matias joined our team on June 1st as a Project Engineer.

He holds a higher professional degree in Electrical Power Engineering and will be contributing to the design, management, and commissioning of Fjell’s projects.

Working as an electrician and a service technician, Matias brings hands-on experience with electrical systems and automation, including both home and industrial automation. His work has involved the construction and repair of radio control systems, as well as mechanical and hydraulic tasks.

Matias is curious about how things work and passionate about optimizing processes. He is excited to get started and looks forward to exploring the value that can be created from fish sludge.

Kari rejoined the team on May 1st as Project Manager R&D.

She is a Chemical Engineer and recognised expert within tech innovation and chemical process technology, mainly from project and technical management - and many of these years being part of the Fjell Technology Group team developing new technology for CO2 capture. Kari has demonstrated leadership skills through establishing, building and managing multidisciplinary innovation teams.

Kari is also a member of the Norwegian Board of Technology to support political decision-making processes and asses impacts and opportunities of (new) technology. Kari will be leading Fjell's efforts in developing a new value chain for fish sludge by development of a radical, new technology.

"Wastefulness is one of the biggest challenges in our society. Our planet is about to overflow with waste. I am excited to rejoin a company that has a strong vision and impact in creating value from waste and an innovative company that has R&D in their DNA."

We are excited to have Matias and Kari onboard to support our delivery to customers in creating value of residual waste.
