Fjell Technology Group delivers process plant to Myken Destillery

Fjell Technology Group installed a new process plant at the award-winning Myken Distillery, located 35 km off the Helgeland coast in Norway.

With the new plant, Myken will be able to extract 25% more wort, significantly increasing its production capacity of high-end whisky. This marks a major upgrade for the distillery, which has already been recognised as a world-class whisky producer.

As the world’s first Arctic whisky producer, Myken continues to push boundaries. The island of Myken has just five year-round inhabitants—all engaged at the distillery. Surrounded by dramatic landscapes and open sea, the island has become a unique destination for whisky enthusiasts and fishing tourists alike.

For Fjell Technology Group AS, this project is about more than technology — it’s about supporting innovation and bold ideas, local value creation, and sustainable production.
